If you have a mis-shapen seal (or not sealing) that is not covered by warranty, usually caused by not opening a vent, here it how to fix it:

  • Step 1: Wash the bowl and seal in the dishwasher or soak in the sink with very water for 15 minutes.
  • Step 2: Remove the seal from the dishwasher or sink and place the seal on the base. The heat will cause the seal to be more flexible and easy to form to the base. Remember to open any vents.
  • Step 3: Allow the with the seal on, to rest until reformed – if it has a vent, be sure to open it so the seal does not “suck down” and lose its shape again.

Please note that the broken or frayed cords can be caused by incorrect use, and therefore are not automatically covered. Friction from pulling the cord up, down or sideways on a sharp angle not outwards as instructed may void the warranty. If your lid has wear marks to indicate this it may be declined. Insufficient cleaning can also cause this.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: We offer extra Tupperpoints points for accepted items to cover shipping and require you to go through checkout to complete warranty claims. This is necessary to ensure we have the correct address, and there is parcel traceability for both yourself and us. This also allows you to choose an alternative replacement if you wish.

Warranty items may take 4 weeks to reach our Auckland warehouse via courier/post while COVID rules are in place. We cannot give updates on claim parcels while in transit but always notify claimants via email when they are received.
