A social seller is a new alternative role to Tupperware Consultant (created in 2022), making the most of the environment we now live in, where face to face selling, or having to leave home to earn a living is no longer the norm.

We have created this position in response to customer demand and how we have all adapted to changes in the way we work, shop and live generally. More people than ever are choosing to shop online, are more conscious of extending the storage life of food, and a lot more interested in making their household budgets go further. √ RECYCLING: The vast majority of Tupperware product components are recyclable. We send any warranty items in for recycling to ensure they have the opportunity to be repurposed.

What sort of content will I need to share?
TIP: Did you know it’s not all about selling stuff. How can you help your tribe (customers) in some way through providing helpful tips, recipes and other lifestyle tips through your content. What is it going to cost me?
As a Social Seller, you are not required to purchase a kit, so there are no upfront costs!
How do I get paid by Tupperware? How much do I make from Tupperware?
There is no limit on how much you can earn! We will pay your base commission weekly. Bonus commissions are paid in the week following the end of the Tupperware month.
You earn money but referring customers with referral links. You can use our content, share it on Social Media or your own. We provide online training and lots of tools so you can track sales daily, weekly and monthly.
You can make anything from a part time income to six figures annually. It’s up to you how much focus you have and use your time wisely (we help you with this) so you can maximise your income no matter how much time you have available. Working smarter, how hard you want to work is up to you (it can be addictive 🙂 )
How much do you have to sell in Tupperware to stay active?
We believe that you’ll smash it as a Social Seller and ask that you sell a minimum of $250NZD per month to keep your account open (but don’t stop there)!
What sort of hours do I need to work as a Tupperware Seller?
As an independent contractor, you earn commission on your sales and set your own hours to suit your lifestyle.
What does my role involve?
- Learning about the Company and it’s products so you have knowledge you can share with confidence.
- Once you have the basics down, it’s up to you to promote and sell Tupperware products through demonstration. You have the creative freedom to start with your own content (recipes, social posts, videos – you can start without your face showing and use voiceover if you’re shy) OR get the ball rolling with the digital assets provided.

Whether you’re a social media whizz or a total newbie, don’t worry! To begin with, you only need to have at least one social platform to start selling (e.g. Facebook or Instagram).
Where shouldn’t I sell Tupperware online?
You may not sell on marketplaces like Facebook Marketplace or Trademe. Why is this? There are strict rules around how the Trademark registered name Tupperware can be used on public facing websites. But there is an even more important reason, and that is because as a newbie you can run into issues with Social Media platform rules without realising it. We want to make sure as your confidence grows, that you are practicing activities that social platforms will reward you for doing. In other words, done right, FB and other platforms will show your posts to more people if you are following the golden rules.
You can sell on your private Facebook group without any hestiation.
Like all high quality brands, it is important to uphold a high standard of brand integrity, and to ensure consistency of information. Products bought through marketplace are not covered by our famous Warranty, as we cannot verify their origin.
We want to ensure everyone can build a strong business foundation within the framework of Tupperware world-wide.
Can I promote other brands whilst working for Tupperware?
Yes, however, prior authorisation is required as covered in the terms and conditions. This is to support the brand and experience for your customers. This is usually granted unless there is a direct conflict of interest with the other product(s).
I am a Social Influencer/Online Personality, how can I boost my earnings with Tupperware products?
If you already have an online presence, for example you are an influencer or online personality, you can promote Tupperware in conjunction with other products. If comparing our products with another brand, we do require you to read/watch product guides as Tupperware products spend several years in development before being released.
During the Tupperware R&D process, many useful features are added to products that may not be immediately obvious. An example is our measuring cups, the handles are also a 1 teaspoon measure and are ergonomically designed for easy use and handling as well as compact stacking. The type of materials used is another consideration. Flexible materials are suitable for freezing because you can give the container a squeeze to release food easily.
There are many good reasons why Tupperware owners love owning their products, and it’s well worth taking the time to get to know the features and benefits. Not all containers are made the same, and this is where Tupperware products shine.
So yes, there is plenty to demonstrate and talk about while using our products during cooking demo’s, DIY cleaning, food saving and storage tips, pantry organisation … the list goes on!
Do you provide training to become an online seller?
As a Social Seller you have exclusive access to our FREE online Learning Hub, which has been designed to cater for all levels. Think of this as being paid while training on the job (but you are your own boss)!
Want something more? You can upgrade to become a Consultant (with Manager promotion opportunities).
What do I need to get started?
- No need to prep your resume for this one, there is no interview process. All you need is a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn!
- Once you have an account*, all you need to do is read and agree to the terms and conditions and acknowledge that you are 18 years or over. We will need a few more details to open your account, and then we will send you your Digital Starter instructions via email.
*If you already have a customer account, our system will recognise your email address. For those who don’t, an account will be created.

As part of your registration form, you will need to accept terms and conditions and register an account.
Once we have activated your account, you will receive a welcome email with further instructions as well as your account details.
Where possible accounts will be activated within 10 – 24 hours. Please allow more for weekends.
