Onion & Anchovy Focaccia Bread

  • 125 ml water

  • 20 g fresh yeast

  • 225 g plain flour

  • 2 TBSP olive oil

  • Toppings
  • 200 g sliced white onion

  • 1 TBSP olive oil

  • 50 g anchovy fillets

  • 1/2 TBSP dry oregano


  • In your Ultimate 1L Mixing Bowl containing your dry yeast, pour over 125ml warm water and gently stir. Set aside for around 5 minutes, allowing the yeast to proof (foam)
  • Add in flour and olive oil. Knead dough until smooth and springs back when touched. Cover and put aside
  • In your MicroCook Pitcher, add onion and olive oil. Place your lid on the fully closed position and microwave at 600W for 8 minutes
  • Take your dough, gently sprinkle it with flour and spread it out in your Rectangle Silicone Form
  • Top dough with onions, anchovies and oregano. Let it rise for 20 minutes
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes at 220°C
  • Let it stand for 5 minutes before cutting and serving
